Directions for use of Bryonia Aconitum Globuli: Bryonia Aconitum Globuli are an anthroposophical medicinal product for the treatment of respiratory diseases. The globules contain the active ingredients Aconitum napellus e tubere ferm 33c Dil. D5 and Bryonia cretica ferm 33b Dil. D7. They are allowed to dissolve under the tongue. They are used in accordance with the anthroposophical understanding of man and nature to harmonise the rhythmic relationship between the life and sensory organisation in febrile illnesses with inflammation of the airways. There are no known contraindications. However, in the case of prolonged complaints, shortness of breath, fever or purulent or bloody sputum, a doctor should be consulted. During pregnancy and breast-feeding, Bryonia Aconitum should only be used after consulting a doctor. The globules contain sucrose, therefore persons with an intolerance to certain sugars should consult a doctor before use. There are no known interactions with other medicines. The dosage depends on age and is 1 to 4 times daily 3 globuli velati for infants, 2 to 4 times daily 3-5 globuli velati for children under 6 years, 2 to 4 times daily 5-7 globuli velati for children from 6 to under 12 years and 2 to 4 times daily 5-10 globuli velati for adults and children over 12 years. For babies, the globules can be dissolved in water or unsweetened tea. Treatment of an acute illness should be completed after one week. If there is no improvement within 2 days or in case of chronic diseases, a doctor should be consulted. There are no known side effects. Side effects should be reported to the doctor, pharmacist or healthcare professional to provide information on the safety of the medicinal product.
