Directions for use of the article Chamomilla/Nicotiana Globuli: Chamomilla/Nicotiana Globuli velati are an anthroposophical medicinal product used to harmonise the interaction of the vital and sensory organisation in spasmodic conditions, mainly of the smooth muscles, such as gastrointestinal cramps or painful menstruation (dysmenorrhoea). The globules contain Chamomilla recutita e radice ferm 33c Dil. D2 and Nicotiana tabacum e foliis ferm 33b Dil. D5 as active ingredients. It is recommended to let the globules dissolve under the tongue. The treatment of an acute illness should be completed after 2 weeks. If the symptoms persist or are unclear, a doctor should be consulted. Chamomilla/Nicotiana globules should not be used if there is a known allergy to camomile and other composite flowers. During pregnancy and breast-feeding, the medicinal product should only be used after consulting a doctor. There are no known interactions with other medicinal products. The recommended dosage for children under 6 years of age is 3-5 globuli velati 3 to 5 times a day, allowed to dissolve under the tongue. For adults and children over 6 years of age, the recommended dosage is 5-10 globuli velati 3 to 5 times a day. For babies, the globules can be dissolved in a small amount of water or unsweetened tea.
