Echinacea/Argentum, Globuli velati, is used in accordance with anthroposophical knowledge of humanity and nature.It serves to stimulate the immune system in acute inflammatory, feverish to septic processes of various kinds.

Composition

10 Grams of Globuli velati contain the following ingredients: Argentum metallicum in a dilution of D29 aquos.0.1 gram and Echinacea pallida e radice ferm 33d in a dilution of D1 0.1 gram (HAB, Vs. 33d).The product also contains sucrose (sucrose/sugar) and lactose.

Contraindications

Echinacea/Argentum must not be used if you are hypersensitive to one of the active ingredients or excipients or to composite plants.For fundamental reasons, the product should not be taken for progressive systemic diseases such as tuberculosis, leukoses, collagen vascular diseases, multiple sclerosis, AIDS-diseases, HIV-infections, chronic viral diseases and autoimmune diseases.

Precautions and warnings

This medicine contains sucrose and lactose.If you have a known intolerance to certain sugars, Echinacea/Argentum should only be taken after consulting a doctor.

Dosage and method of administration

Unless otherwise prescribed, the dosage for infants and children up to 6 years of age is 3 to 5 globules velati, which are allowed to melt under the tongue, 2 to 4 times a day or every two hours.Adults and children aged 6 years and over take 5 to 10 globules of velati in the same way 2 to 4 times a day up to every two hours.

Duration of application

Echinacea/Argentum should not be taken for longer than 2 weeks without interruption.

Side effects

Hypersensitivity reactions can occur very rarely.Skin rash, itching, rarely facial swelling, shortness of breath, dizziness and drop in blood pressure have been observed for medicines containing preparations from echinacea.In these cases, the medication should be discontinued and a doctor should be consulted.
