Directions for use of the article Echinacea/Argentum Globuli: - Indications: Stimulation of the body's defences in acute inflammatory, febrile to septic processes of all kinds according to the anthroposophical understanding of man and nature. - Warning: The medicinal product contains sucrose and lactose. - Contraindications: Not to be used in case of hypersensitivity to any of the active or excipient substances or to daisies. Not to be used in progressive systemic diseases such as tuberculosis, leukoses, collagenoses, multiple sclerosis, AIDS-diseases, HIV-infections, chronic viral diseases and autoimmune diseases. - Precautions and warnings: In case of persistent symptoms, shortness of breath, fever or purulent or bloody sputum, a doctor should be consulted. During pregnancy and breastfeeding, use only after consulting a doctor. In case of intolerance to certain sugars, consult a doctor before use. - Interactions with other medicines: None known. - Dosage and method of administration: Infants and children up to 6 years of age should take 3-5 globuli velati 2 to 4 times daily to every 2 hours. Adults and children over 6 years of age: Dissolve 5-10 globuli velati under the tongue 2 to 4 times daily to every two hours. For infants, dissolve in water or unsweetened tea before administration. Do not take for longer than 2 weeks without interruption. AIDS-- HIV-Side effects: Very rarely hypersensitivity reactions. In this case, discontinue the medicine and consult a doctor. - Notification of side effects: If side effects occur, inform the doctor, pharmacist or healthcare professional.
