Directions for use of the article Passiflora Comp. globules Passiflora Comp. globules are an anthroposophical medicinal product used to treat sleep disorders, nervous restlessness and cardiac anxiety. It contains the active ingredients Crataegus laevigata/monogyna e foliis et fructibus ferm 33d Dil. D2, Passiflora caerulea ex herba ferm 33c Dil. D2 and Salix alba ssp. vitellina e cortice et foliis ferm 33d Dil. D2. The globules are dissolved under the tongue. There are no known interactions with other medicines and the dosage depends on age and need. Treatment of an acute illness should be completed after 2 weeks, otherwise a doctor should be consulted. Hypersensitivity reactions may occur in sensitised individuals, in which case the medicine should be discontinued and a doctor consulted. The medicinal product should not be used if there is hypersensitivity to willow bark. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult a doctor before use. Passiflora Comp. globules contain sucrose and should therefore only be taken after consulting a doctor in the case of known intolerance to certain sugars. Side effects should be reported to a doctor or pharmacist. The medicine should not be used after the expiry date and should be kept out of the reach of children.
