Directions for use of the article Symphytum Comp. globules: Symphytum comp. is an anthroposophical medicinal product used to stimulate the formation of structure and form in traumatic and inflammatory diseases of the bones and tissues close to the bones. These include fractures, Sudeck's disease, osteomyelitis, "tennis elbow" and tendovaginitis. The remedy contains the active ingredients Allium cepa ferm 34a Dil. D3, Arnica montana e planta tota ferm 33c Dil. D3, Stannum metallicum Dil. D9 and Symphytum officinale e radice ferm 34c Dil. D2. It is recommended to let the globules dissolve under the tongue. Symphytum Comp. is available only from pharmacies and should be kept out of the reach of children. It contains sucrose (saccharose/sugar) and lactose. There are no known interactions with other remedies and no side effects have been reported. For children under 6 years of age, 3-5 globules 3 times daily are recommended, while adults and children 6 years and older should take 5-10 globules 3 times daily. Treatment of an acute illness should be completed after 2 weeks, and chronic illnesses require consultation with the doctor. No medicines should be used after the expiry date. The medicinal product should not be used in case of hypersensitivity to arnica and other composite plants or any of the other ingredients. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before use as the medicinal product contains sucrose and lactose. If side effects occur, they should be reported to the doctor, pharmacist or the Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices.
