Areas of application

Veratrum comp., Globuli velati is used according to the anthroposophical knowledge of humanity and nature.It serves to harmonize the blood and nerve processes in non-organically caused changing physical complaints, such as vegetative dystonia, especially with circulatory regulation disorders.

Composition

The following ingredients are processed into 10 g Globuli velati: Atropa belladonna ex herba ferm 33a Dil.D2 0.1 g (HAB, Vs. 33a), Chamomilla recutita e radice ferm 33c Dil.D2 0.1 g (HAB, Vs. 33c), Cinis e fructibus Avenae sativae cum Magnesio phosphorico (1:1) Dil.D5 0.1 g (HAB, Vs. 6), Cuprum sulfuricum Dil.D3 aquos.0.1 g (HAB, Vs. 5b), Stibium metallicum Dil.D5 0.1 g, Veratrum album and radice ferm 33c Dil.D3 0.1 g (HAB, Vs. 33c).The globules also contain sucrose (sucrose/sugar) and lactose.

Contraindications

The medicine should not be used if you have a known allergy to chamomile or other composite plants, or if you have a known allergy to belladonna and the other active ingredients.Also do not use if there is increased intraocular pressure (“glaucoma”, glaucoma), enlargement of the prostate gland (prostate adenoma) with residual urine formation or cardiac arrhythmias with accelerated heartbeat.

Dosage and method of administration

Unless otherwise prescribed, children under 6 years of age should take 3 - 5 globules of velati 1 to 3 times a day, children from 6 to 12 years of age should take 5 - 7 globules of velati 1 to 3 times a day, and adults and children aged 12 and over should take 5 - 10 globules of velati 1 to 3 times a day.The globules should be allowed to melt under the tongue.

Duration of application

Treatment of an acute illness should be completed after 2 weeks.If there is no improvement within this time, you should consult a doctor.The duration of treatment for chronic diseases requires consultation with the doctor.

Side effects

When using the medicine, in rare cases dry mouth, flushing of the face, dilated pupils, emotional excitement or rapid heartbeat may occur.In such cases, the medication should be discontinued and a doctor should be consulted.
