Mikrozid AF wipes INT are ready-to-use disinfectant wipes impregnated with an alcohol-based solution of active ingredients. They are characterised by their broad efficacy within a short time, fast drying and a diverse selection of wipe and packaging sizes. They are suitable for the alcohol-based rapid disinfection of medical devices and wipeable surfaces with an increased risk of infection and short contact times. These include near-patient surfaces, patient treatment units, examination couches, OP-tables with adjacent work surfaces and surfaces of medical equipment. Before disinfection, visible soiling should be removed and care should be taken to ensure that the surface is completely wetted. It is important that alcohol-sensitive surfaces such as acrylic glass are not treated and the product is not suitable for disinfecting invasive medical devices. The shelf life after opening is 3 months. When refilling the can, hands must be disinfected and fresh protective gloves worn. Care should be taken to ensure that the gloves are not contaminated by other activities. The lid cap should be disinfectantly cleaned with an alcohol-based surface disinfectant each time it is refilled. The composition of the solution contains 25 g ethanol (94 % strength) and 35 g propan-1-ol per 100 g solution. The product is highly compatible with metals and plastics except acrylic glass and alcohol-sensitive lacquers. It is recommended to always read the label and product information before use.
