1 Tablet of Ginkobil® ratiopharm 240 mg film-coated tablets contains 240 mg dry extract of Ginkgo biloba leaves (35-67:1), extracted with acetone 60% (m/m).

Other ingredients of Ginkobil® ratiopharm 240 mg film-coated tablets are croscarmellose sodium, Dimeticon 350, colloidal silicon dioxide, hypromellose, lactose monohydrate, macrogol 1500, macrogol stearyl ether-5 (Ph. Eur.), Magnesium stearate (Ph. Eur.) [pflanzlich], corn starch, microcrystalline cellulose,(2E,4E)-hexa-2,4-dienoic acid, talc, titanium dioxide E 171 and iron (III) oxide E 172.

Contraindications

Ginkobil® ratiopharm 240 mg film-coated tablets should not be used if you are known to be hypersensitive to one of the ingredients, during pregnancy and breastfeeding, and in children and adolescents under 18 years of age.Before use, a doctor should be consulted if there is an increased tendency to bleeding, if you are taking anticoagulant drugs at the same time, if you have a sugar intolerance, before an operation or if you have epilepsy.

Dosage

Unless otherwise prescribed, adults aged 18 and over should take 1 film-coated tablet once a day, corresponding to 240 mg of ginkgo extract per day.

Intake

The film-coated tablets are intended to be taken orally and should be swallowed whole with sufficient liquid, preferably a glass of drinking water.It can be taken regardless of meals.

Patient information
