The Contour XT Set mmol/l is a plasma-calibrated blood glucose meter that can be used with the PC-connection.It is specifically designed for use with Contour Next sensors.This set is a technological development from Bayer and offers a new dimension in measurement accuracy.It's proven, easy to use and requires no coding.The device enables people with diabetes to achieve even more precise measurement results and make precise decisions as part of their individual diabetes management.

The Contour XT Set mmol/l only requires 0.6 µl of venous or capillary whole blood for one measurement.It can store up to 480 measurement results and provides average values for 7, 14 and 30 days.No prescription is required for this product.

Scope of delivery

The Contour XT Set mmol/l contains the following components:

Contour XT blood glucose meter with case, 5 Contour Next sensors, a Microlet 2 lancing device with adjustable puncture depth, 5 Microlet lancets, a quick user guide, a detailed user manual, a blood sugar diary, a guarantee card and a patient ID-card.

Area of application

The Contour XT Set mmol/l is suitable for self-monitoring of blood sugar by people with diabetes.It can also be used to measure blood glucose levels in fresh fingerstick capillary whole blood, arterial and venous whole blood or newborn blood samples by healthcare professionals.The device is used for the quantitative measurement of glucose content in whole blood in the range from 0.6 mmol/L to 33.3 mmol/L.It is intended exclusively for in vitro diagnostics and supports individual diabetes management.It is not intended for the diagnosis or screening of diabetes mellitus.
