Description

Optifree Puremoist solution is a multi-function disinfectant solution specifically designed for silicone hydrogel contact lenses and soft contact lenses.This sterile, buffered and aqueous solution not only provides thorough cleaning, but also a conditioning, rinsing and disinfecting effect.It is also suitable for storing lenses for up to 30 days.

Mode of action

The Optifree Puremoist solution removes daily lipid and protein deposits from the contact lenses and prevents them from forming again.Thanks to the HydraGlyde® Moisture Matrix, a block polymer, the lenses are optimally moistened and wetted, which ensures a high level of comfort for up to 16 hours.The disinfectant active ingredients POLYQUAD® and ALDOX® fight and eliminate dangerous microorganisms, thereby preventing eye infections and fungal diseases.

A solution of Optifree Puremoist contains the following ingredients: sodium citrate, sodium chloride, boric acid, aminomethylpropanol, sorbitol, disodium EDTA, two wetting agents (TETRONIC® 1304 and HydraGlyde® Moisture Matrix [EOBO-41™- Polyoxyethylenpolyoxybutylen]), as well as POLYQUAD® (Polyquaternium-1) 0.001% and ALDOX® (Myristamidopropyldimethylamine)0.0006% as a preservative.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients mentioned, the product should not be used.

Dosage

Hands should be washed and dried before touching contact lenses.Lenses should be cleaned after removal, always caring for the same lens first to avoid mixing up.To clean, both sides of the lenses are thoroughly wetted with the solution and rubbed for 20 seconds, then rinsed with a steady stream of the solution for about 10 seconds.The lens case should be emptied after each use, rinsed with the solution and allowed to air dry.For overnight storage, the lenses should be kept in a closed container with fresh solution for at least 6 hours.Before inserting the lenses, they should be rinsed thoroughly with the solution.When stored in an unopened container, the lenses are ready to wear for up to 30 days.Longer storage times require cleaning and disinfection every 30 days with fresh solution.It is important to follow the contact lens fitter's instructions and not change the care procedure without consultation.

Notes

The solution is not suitable for heat disinfection.It is important to follow the contact lens fitter's instructions and package instructions for proper lens care and use of lens care products.If eye problems persist, excessive tearing, vision changes or eye redness, the contact lenses should be removed immediately and a contact lens fitter should be consulted.
