Directions for use of the product Skinman Complete Hand Disinfection Dispenser Bottle Important information (obligatory data): Skinman complete 96 % (v/v), solution. Read all of this leaflet carefully because it contains important information for you. This medicine is available without prescription. However, to achieve the best possible treatment success, Skinman complete must be used as prescribed. 1. WAS IST SKINMAN COMPLETE UND WOFÜR WIRD ES USED? Skinman complete is an alcohol-based disinfectant for hygienic and surgical hand disinfection. 2. NOTE WAS MÜSSEN SIE VOR DER ANWENDUNG VON SKINMAN COMPLETE ? Skinman complete must not be used if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to denatured ethanol (96 %) or any of the other ingredients of Skinman complete. Special caution is required when using Skinman complete: - if larger quantities of Skinman complete are spilled, as Skinman complete is highly flammable (risk of fire and explosion!). - before using electrical equipment: allow the product to dry beforehand. Caution is advised when using Skinman complete on surfaces sensitive to alcohol. Skinman complete is irritating to eyes and mucous membranes. Do not apply Skinman complete near the eyes, on injured skin or on mucous membranes. In the event of accidental contact with the eyes or mucous membranes, rinse immediately with plenty of water (in the case of the eyes, also under the eyelids). Consult a doctor if irritation persists. Skinman complete is for external use only. In case of accidental ingestion, seek medical advice immediately. 3. WIE IST SKINMAN COMPLETE TO USE? Route of administration: For application to the skin. Always use Skinman complete exactly as directed in this leaflet. Hygienic hand disinfection: Rub Skinman complete undiluted into dry hands and keep the skin moist for at least 30 seconds. Surgical hand disinfection: Rub Skinman complete undiluted into dry hands and forearms and keep the skin moist for at least 90 seconds. Several applications of Skinman complete may be necessary to keep the skin moist for the exposure time. 4 WELCHE NEBENWIRKUNGEN SIND POSSIBLE? In rare cases, Skinman complete may cause skin irritation such as redness and burning as well as contact allergies. Hand disinfectants containing alcohol can dry out the skin and cause skin irritations, especially in low humidity (e.g. in winter). 5. HOW TO STORE WIE IST SKINMAN COMPLETE ? Keep medicinal products out of the reach of children. Do not use the medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the label. Do not store above 25°C. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Flammable contents. Flash point 13°C. Keep product away from open flames. Shelf life after opening the container: 1 year. The medicinal product must not be disposed of in waste water or household waste. Ask your doctor or pharmacist how to dispose of the medicine when you no longer need it.
