Instructions for use for OCTENISEPT Wound disinfection solution, 50 ml

Octenisept Wound Disinfection Spray is an antiseptic for the disinfection and post-treatment of cuts, scratches, abrasions and open blisters. It contains the active ingredients octenidine dihydrochloride and phenoxyethanol, which have bactericidal, fungicidal and antiviral properties. The spray is suitable for acute and chronic wounds and can be used painlessly. It is well tolerated by the skin and is used for repeated, temporary supportive antiseptic wound treatment. Octenisept Wound Disinfection Spray is sprayed onto the cleaned wound and surrounding skin and should be left to act for at least 1-2 minutes. It should not be applied to the tissue under pressure or swallowed. Application to the eye should be avoided. Hands should be thoroughly washed and disinfected before use. The spray is suitable for the whole family and can be kept in the medicine cabinet. The package leaflet contains further information on risks and side effects and it is recommended to consult a doctor or pharmacist. A daily companion for travelling, which has a permanent place in my bag and is, in my personal opinion, a really great wound disinfectant. It's colourless and odourless, doesn't sting, feels pleasant on the skin, dries relatively quickly so you don't have to wait so long before you can stick the plaster on) and it works very well. I use the larger bottle at home, which is of course much cheaper in comparison. For travelling, however, I like the small, handy bottle, which in my opinion is absolutely worth its price in terms of quality and practicality.

We have been using this product for many years. It's a perfect wound antiseptic, especially for children: it doesn't sting, doesn't stain and doesn't smell. It has been an integral part of our medicine cabinet and first-aid kit for years. Great value for money!

For myself, I can only say that it hardly burns at all. I also use it on my animals when they have an injury and I can't tell that they react to it when I spray it on. I can only recommend it wholeheartedly.
