Area of application

This product is an alcohol-based disinfectant used for hygienic and surgical hand disinfection.It helps reduce bacteria and viruses on the hands, thereby preventing the spread of infections.

Active ingredients and ingredients

The solution contains 957 mg of denatured ethanol and 890 mg of ethanol as active ingredients.The following excipients are also included: methyl ethyl ketone, lactic acid, perfume oil, polyoxyethylene (6), caprylic acid/capric acid glyceride and purified water.These ingredients contribute to the disinfectant effect and the tolerability of the product.

Contraindications

The product must not be used if you are allergic to denatured ethanol or any of the other ingredients.Additionally, it should not be used on broken skin to avoid further irritation.

Dosage and application

For hygienic hand disinfection, you should rub the undiluted product into dry hands and keep the skin moist for at least 30 seconds.When disinfecting hands surgically, it is necessary to rub the preparation into dry hands and forearms and keep the skin moist for at least 90 seconds.To ensure full virucidal effectiveness, an exposure time of 120 seconds must be maintained.Then let your hands air dry.

Intake

The product is intended for external use on the skin only.It should never be ingested or applied to mucous membranes.

Patient information

You should exercise particular caution when using the product.If large amounts are spilled, the preparation is highly flammable and can pose a fire and explosion hazard.In this case, you should collect the liquid, dilute it with plenty of water, ventilate the room and eliminate sources of ignition.Before using electrical devices, you should allow the product to dry.The product is irritating to the eyes and mucous membranes, so you should not use it near the eyes or on mucous membranes.If you accidentally come into contact with your eyes or mucous membranes, you should rinse them immediately with plenty of water.If you accidentally ingest it, you should seek medical advice immediately.If used frequently, minor skin irritations may occur, in which case you should intensify your skin care.
