HYA-Ject Tendon pre-filled syringes are intended for injection by a doctor.The injection technique is crucial for the success of the treatment, which is why it may only be carried out by specially trained doctors.No prescription is required for this product.

Product features

HYA-Ject Tendon is a viscoelastic solution for injection into the tendon or tendon sheath.The solution contains sodium hyaluronate from fermentation with a concentration of 2.0%.It is sterile due to moist heat.

Composition

1 ml of the isotonic solution contains 20.0 mg sodium hyaluronate as well as sodium chloride, disodium hydrogen phosphate, sodium dihydrogen phosphate, mannitol and water for injections.

Areas of application

HYA-Ject Tendon is used to treat pain and limited mobility due to tendon problems.

Contraindications

HYA-Ject Tendon must not be used if you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients.

Interactions

To date, no incompatibilities between HYA-Ject Tendon and other remedies that can be used on the tendon have been reported.

Side effects

After use, local side effects such as pain, feeling of heat, bruising, redness and swelling may occur on the treated tendon.

Dosage instructions and method of application

HYA-Ject Tendon is injected twice a week around the diseased tendon or injected into the diseased tendon sheath.Multiple tendons can be treated at the same time.Repeated treatments are possible if necessary.The pre-filled syringe is removed from the sterile packaging, the cap is removed from the Luer-Lok™ connection, a suitable cannula is attached and locked.Before the injection, any air bubbles that may be present are removed from the syringe.

Precautions

Caution is advised when using HYA-Ject Tendon in patients with known hypersensitivity to drugs.General precautions for peritendinous injections or injections into the tendon sheath should be observed. HYA-Ject Tendon must be injected correctly, if necessary under image intensifier control.Nerve lesions and injections into blood vessels should be avoided.Since there is insufficient experience with use in children, pregnant and breastfeeding women, use is not recommended in these cases.Do not use if the pre-filled syringe or sterile packaging is damaged.Any solution that is not used immediately after opening must be discarded. HYA-Ject Tendon should be stored between 2°C and 25°C.The expiry date must be observed.Keep out of the reach of children.

HYA-Ject Tendon is a clear solution made from natural, highly pure sodium hyaluronate, which is obtained through fermentation and is therefore free of animal proteins. HYA-Ject Tendon is also stabilized by the addition of mannitol, a free radical scavenger.In biocompatibility studies, HYA-Ject Tendon has proven to be particularly well tolerated.
