Directions for use of the article Fresubin YOcreme Raspberry: - Fresubin YOcreme is a food for special medical purposes (balanced diet) and is used for supplementary or exclusive nutrition. - The recommended intake is 3-4 cups for supplementary nutrition and 8 cups or as recommended by a doctor for exclusive nutrition. - YOcreme tastes best chilled and should be stirred before consumption. - The nutritional declaration per 100 ml contains 150 kcal calorific value, 4.7 g fat, 19.3 g carbohydrates, 7.5 g protein and 0.15 g salt. - The vitamins contained include vitamin A, vitamin D3, vitamin E, vitamin K1, vitamin B1, vitamin B2, niacin, vitamin B6, vitamin B12, pantothenic acid, biotin, folic acid and vitamin C. - The minerals in Fresubin YOcreme include sodium, potassium, chloride, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, iron, zinc, copper, manganese, iodine, fluoride, chromium, molybdenum and selenium. - YOcreme also contains choline and consists of water, sugar, whey protein, skimmed milk yoghurt powder, vegetable oils, modified starch, acidity regulators, thickeners, emulsifiers, flavourings and colourings. - The cream contains whey protein, milk and soy and should be stored at room temperature. Opened bottles can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. - The manufacturer of Fresubin YOcreme is Fresenius Kabi Deutschland GmbH, based in Bad Homburg. - The cream should only be used under medical supervision. It is suitable for exclusive feeding and adequate fluid intake should be ensured. - Fresubin YOcreme is indicated for patients with existing or impending malnutrition, increased energy and protein requirements, limited fluid tolerance or dysphagia. - The cream is contraindicated in cases of enteral nutritional contraindications and intolerance to any ingredient. - It is not suitable for children.
