Ingredients and components

This dietary supplement contains, among other things, lactase powder as the active ingredient.Other ingredients include dicalcium phosphate (bulking agent), gelatin, corn starch, magnesium salts of fatty acids (anti-caking agent), and silicon dioxide.One capsule contains 54.8 mg of lactase with an activity of 4,500 food-grade units according to FCC.This amount can break down approximately 10–20 g of lactose.

Area of application

The product supports lactose digestion.It contains the enzyme lactase, which aids in the digestion of milk sugar (lactose).

Contraindications

The product should not be taken if there is a known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.

Dosage

Up to 15 capsules may be taken daily.The required amount of lactase depends on the lactose content of the food consumed and the body's own lactase production.One capsule contains 4,500 FCC units of lactase and can break down approximately 10–20 g of lactose.The capsule can be taken shortly before consuming lactose-containing foods and beverages, or the contents can be added directly to foods or beverages (below 50°C).
