Instructions for use of the article Iscador P Series II Solution for injection Active substance: fermented aqueous extract of pine mistletoe. Iscador P is used in the treatment of tumour diseases to stimulate forming and integrating forces to dissolve and reintegrate growth processes. It can be used for malignant and benign tumour diseases, to prevent tumour recurrence after operations and for precancerous conditions. Iscador P must not be used in cases of known allergies to mistletoe preparations, acute inflammations, chronic granulomatous diseases and autoimmune diseases. In primary brain and spinal cord tumours, Iscador P should only be used on medical prescription. It is recommended to inject Iscador P subcutaneously near the tumour or metastases. The dosage is individual and is increased gradually. The duration of treatment is determined by the doctor and can be several years. Side effects such as a slight increase in body temperature and local inflammatory reactions may occur. Iscador P should be stored in the refrigerator and protected from children.
