Product properties:

Elacur M hot Creme is a medical product for massage support in cases of back pain, lumbago and muscle tension. It is used on uninjured skin as a massage aid for therapeutic support in the physiotherapeutic treatment of the muscle, tendon and joint system. The cream is used regionally as a lubricant for therapeutic massage on uninjured skin in cases of myalgia, neuralgia (muscle and nerve pain), non-inflammatory joint complaints and pain conditions of the postural and locomotor system that do not require surgical treatment. It is suitable for self-administration by adults at home as well as for professional treatment of the sick, disabled and elderly.

General safety instructions:

Elacur M hot cream is only intended for external use on uninjured skin and must not get into the eyes, on mucous membranes or open wounds. After treatment, hands should be washed thoroughly with soap and water. The cream may only be used by adults and children over 12 years of age. Use by pregnant or breastfeeding women is excluded. It should be kept out of the reach of children. Persons with known hypersensitivity to parabens or any of the other ingredients should not use the cream. A combination with other agents for local blood circulation stimulation or agents for heat therapy may lead to a drop in blood pressure if applied over a large area. Before use, the package should be checked for integrity.

Usage:

Massage is a commonly used physical form of pain management. The massage technique should be adapted to the local pain sensation and include different techniques such as strong pressure, gentle touch, stroking, kneading, rubbing, tapping and vibration. Classic massage is used to improve blood circulation, loosen, stretch and relax the muscles. Elacur M hot cream is applied several times a day in small amounts to the painful parts of the body and massaged into the skin. The duration of application should not exceed 2 weeks, provided the complaints subside. After treatment, the hands should be washed thoroughly.

Composition:

Purified water, non-ionic emulsifying alcohols, glycerol 85%, isopropyl myristate (Ph.Eur.), thin paraffin, wool wax (may contain butylated hydroxytoloul (Ph.Eur.)), propyl nicotinate, methyl 4-hydroxybenzoate (Ph.Eur.), propyl 4-hydroxybenzoate (Ph.Eur.).
