Contramutan® tablets are a homeopathic anti-infective that offers natural relief from typical cold symptoms.It is effective against symptoms such as headaches, body aches, sore throats and fever.Due to their good tolerability, the tablets are also suitable for children aged six and over.The areas of application are derived from the homeopathic medicines and include febrile flu-like infections with inflammation of the upper respiratory tract.

Contramutan® tablets are practical for on the go as they can be taken without water.The tablets should be dissolved in the mouth, ideally under the tongue.The composition contains Indian water (Eupatorium perfoliatum) and three other ingredients from medicinal plants.No prescription is required for this product.

One tablet of Contramutan® tablets contains the following active ingredients: 50 mg Echinacea angustifolia mother tincture, 0.015 mg Aconitum napellus mother tincture, 0.015 mg Atropa belladonna mother tincture and 0.05 mg Eupatorium perfoliatum mother tincture.The preparation also contains magnesium stearate, corn starch and lactose-1-water as further ingredients.

Area of application

Contramutan® tablets are used for colds.The areas of application are derived from the homeopathic medicines and include feverish and flu-like infections with inflammation of the upper respiratory tract.

Contraindications

The product should not be used if you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients or to composite plants or in children under two years of age.

Dosage

In acute conditions, children aged six to twelve years can take one tablet every half to an hour, but no more than six times a day.The maximum total daily dose is six tablets.Adolescents aged thirteen and over and adults can take one tablet every half to an hour, but no more than twelve times a day.The maximum total daily dose is twelve tablets.When symptoms subside (subacute stage), the dosage is reduced to one tablet one to three times a day.

Intake

The tablets should be sucked as the active ingredients are particularly well absorbed by the oral mucosa.

Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking the product.Particular caution is required in the case of prolonged symptoms, shortness of breath, fever that lasts longer than three days or rises above 39 ° C, or if there is purulent or bloody sputum.In these cases, a doctor should be consulted.Since there is insufficient documented experience, the drug should not be used in children aged two to six years.No special precautions are required regarding the ability to drive or use machines.

Pregnancy

Contramutan® tablets contain lactose.Please do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the pack or outer packaging.The expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month.
