Directions for use of the article Fennel honey Sn Painex syrup: Fennel honey SN syrup is used to improve the symptoms of colds of the respiratory tract with viscous mucus in children. The herbal medicinal product contains the active substance bitter fennel oil. It must not be taken if there is hypersensitivity to fennel or other umbelliferous plants. If symptoms persist for more than 5 days or if shortness of breath, fever or purulent/bloody sputum occurs, a doctor should be consulted. Side effects such as allergic reactions of the skin and respiratory tract occur very rarely. If they occur, you should stop taking the medicine and inform your doctor. Fennel honey SN contains a mixture of glucose, fructose and sucrose (sugar). If you have an intolerance to certain sugars, the medicine should only be taken after consulting your doctor. The recommended dosage for children from 1 year of age is one measuring spoon (5 ml) of Fennel Honey Sn 2-3 times a day. The intake can be continued until the symptoms have subsided. Shake well before taking. If you have any questions about the dosage or the effect of the medicine, you should consult your doctor or pharmacist. The medicine should be kept out of the reach of children and should not be used after the expiry date which is stated on the packaging. Fennel honey SN has a shelf life of 4 months after opening the bottle. Indications: Improvement of the symptoms of colds of the respiratory tract with viscous mucus in children. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to fennel or other umbelliferous plants or any of the other ingredients of fennel honey SN. Side effects: Very rare: allergic reactions of the skin and respiratory tract. Indications: The medicinal product contains a mixture of glucose, fructose and sucrose.
