Directions for use of the article Bromuc akut 200 mg Cough Loosener: Bromuc akut 200 mg Cough Loosener is a medicine for loosening mucus and making it easier to cough up in respiratory diseases with thick mucus. The active substance acetylcysteine liquefies the mucus and makes it easier to cough up the pathogens in it. The recommended dose is 1 sachet of 3 g powder 2-3 times a day for adolescents over 14 years of age and adults, and 1 sachet of 3 g powder 2 times a day for children and adolescents from 6 to 14 years of age. The powder should be dissolved in a glass of water after meals and drunk completely. The duration of treatment should not exceed 4-5 days. If symptoms persist or recur for a longer period, a doctor should be consulted. Possible side effects are gastrointestinal complaints, inflammation of the oral mucosa, headaches, tinnitus and allergic reactions. The medicinal product should not be used in the case of hypersensitivity to the ingredients and certain previous illnesses. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult a doctor before use.
