Areas of application

This disinfectant is used for hygienic hand disinfection and for making cooling compresses.

Composition

100 Grams of the solution contains 100 grams of ethanol 70% (v/v).

Application and dosage

For hygienic hand disinfection, the hands are rubbed with the solution and kept moist for at least a minute.For cooling compresses, dilute the solution with equal parts water.The times stated are minimum times.If there are additional difficulties, such as damp skin or dirt, the exposure times should be extended.Alcohol 70% by volume (ethanol 70% (V/V)) is not suitable for disinfecting large, open wounds and does not kill spores, therefore it is not suitable for storing sterile instruments and syringes.

Side effects

When rubbing the skin with alcohol 70% by volume (ethanol 70% (V/V)), redness and a slight burning sensation may occur.If you observe any side effects that are not listed in this leaflet, please report them to your doctor or pharmacist.

Warnings

The solution is highly flammable and should be kept away from sources of ignition.If the solution is spilled, immediate measures to prevent fire and explosion must be taken, such as collecting the spilled liquid, diluting it with water, ventilating the room and eliminating sources of ignition.

Storage

The product should be kept tightly closed and out of the reach of children.It may no longer be used after the expiry date.
