Contraindications

The Clearblue Fertility Monitor Advanced is suitable if your cycles are usually between 21 and 42 days long.If your cycles are always shorter than 23 days or longer than 37 days, the LH-increase may not be detected.You may get misleading results if you have menopausal symptoms, have polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), have impaired liver or kidney function, are or have recently been pregnant, are undergoing hormonal treatments, or are taking antibiotics that contain tetracyclines.

You should wait for at least two consecutive natural menstrual cycles if you have recently breast-fed a baby, used a hormonal contraceptive method or received hormone therapy, have had any other treatment that may have affected your cycle, or have been pregnant.Before using the Clearblue Fertility Monitor Advanced, always read the instructions provided by the manufacturer of the medication you are taking.Some medicines are contraindicated during pregnancy.If you are taking any medication, please consult your doctor before attempting to become pregnant.The Clearblue Fertility Monitor Advanced must not be used as a contraceptive method.

Dosage

Once you've set a new cycle, check your monitor every morning before you go to the bathroom.It indicates either a low, high, or peak fertility day, or a test day, indicating that you need to take a test.You will have either 10 or 20 test days per cycle.The monitor will only request 20 tests if it was unable to determine your LH-slope with the first 10 tests.

On test days, do a urine test after the longest period of sleep, insert the test stick into the monitor and after five minutes your fertility status will be displayed on the screen. You can take a pregnancy test on any day of your cycle, once a day.Read the full instructions for use before use.
