Area of application

This test is intended for home use and features an ergonomic design that includes a longer, curved test stick and a wide, coloring test tip.The results are easy to read and are indicated by a “Pregnant/Not Pregnant” result key.

Carrying out the test

Remove the foil packaging and take off the cap.Test immediately afterwards.You can either perform the test directly in the urine stream by holding the colored test tip for a full five seconds, or collect the urine in a clean and dry container and immerse the test tip in the urine sample for a full twenty seconds.The discoloring test tip will quickly turn pink to show that it is absorbing urine.Put the cap back on and place the test stick on a flat surface.Start by keeping time.The result can be read after three minutes.

Reading the results

Two lines indicate the result “Pregnant,” even if one line is lighter than the other.A line indicates the result “Not Pregnant”.

Contraindications

Before taking a test, always read the instructions provided by the manufacturers of the medications you are taking.Medications containing hCG and certain rare diseases can cause false positive results.Ectopic pregnancies or a recent pregnancy, even if not carried to term, may produce misleading results.If you are near or in menopause, you may get a false “pregnant” result even though you are not pregnant.Hormonal therapies with clomiphene citrate, common painkillers, alcohol, antibiotics or birth control pills should KEINE have an impact on the test.If you get unexpected results, you should contact your doctor.
