Area of application

The GlucoMen areo measuring device and the GlucoMen areo Sensor test strips are in vitro diagnostic devices and are used for the quantitative measurement of glucose in fresh capillary whole blood.They are intended for self-tests to monitor and control blood sugar levels in people with diabetes mellitus.In addition, they can be used in clinical settings by healthcare professionals.They are not intended for the diagnosis of diabetes mellitus, screening examinations or testing of newborns.Do not change your treatment based on the measurement results without first consulting your doctor or diabetes educator.

For accurate results, if necessary, allow the meter, test strips, and control solution 30 minutes to adjust to environmental conditions before taking a blood glucose test:

Do not store or use the meter in locations where the following conditions apply:

Do not use the meter if it has been dropped into liquid or if liquid has entered the device.This also applies if the device is then dried.
