Summary: Rosemary leaves tea is a herbal medicinal product used for internal and external use in digestive complaints, rheumatic diseases and circulatory complaints. It is drunk as a tea infusion or used as a bath additive. There are no known interactions with other medicines and there are no known side effects. It is recommended to consult a doctor for complaints that last longer than a week or occur regularly. The use of rosemary leaves during pregnancy, breastfeeding and in children under 12 years of age should be avoided. In the case of major skin injuries, acute skin diseases, severe febrile and infectious diseases, heart failure and high blood pressure, full baths should only be used after consulting a doctor. The tea infusion is made from 1 teaspoonful (approx. 2 g) of rosemary leaves and boiling water (approx. 150 ml) and passed through a tea strainer after approx. 10-15 minutes.
