Information about Myrtol®
Myrtol® is a herbal medicine that helps with sinusitis and bronchitis with symptoms such as cough, runny nose and pressure headache. It activates self-cleaning in the respiratory tract, fights pathogens and shortens the duration of illness. The product is available without a prescription.
On average, adults suffer from a cold two to three times a year, while children are affected about six to ten times more often.Myrtol® is available to effectively relieve these cold symptoms, both in the sinuses and in the lungs. Each capsule contains 120 mg of the special distillate ELOM-080, which is based on rectified eucalyptus, sweet orange, myrtle and lemon oils. The small, oval capsule is easy to swallow and can be used for ages six and up.The purely plant-based active ingredient activates the natural self-cleaning powers in the respiratory tract and loosens mucus, meaning that patients large and small can breathe better and feel better more quickly.
For older children aged 12 and over and adults, GeloMyrtol® forte has a higher active ingredient dosage of 300 mg per capsule.
Intake and dosage
For acute clinical pictures, children aged 6 to 12 years take 1 capsule 3-4 times a day.For chronic illnesses you can take 1 capsule 3 times a day or 2 capsules 2 times a day.
Myrtol® with the special vegetable distillate ELOM-080
Myrtol® contains the special distillate ELOM-080, which is based on rectified eucalyptus, sweet orange, myrtle and lemon oil. This distillate of essential oils has different effects. It loosens mucus in the upper and lower respiratory tract, improves the removal of harmful bacteria and viruses and has anti-inflammatory effects.Myrtol® thereby clears the respiratory tract, relieves symptoms and shortens the duration of the illness.
Comprehensive operating principle
With just one preparation, symptoms such as cough, runny nose and pressure headache can be relieved. The special distillate ELOM-080 in Myrtol® helps to remove thick mucus from the nasal sinuses and bronchi. The small, oval capsule is already suitable for school children.
Schoolchild with a cold - what now?
Children often struggle with respiratory infections in the cool months. The symptoms usually last longer in little ones because the immune system still has to fully develop.Myrtol® is suitable for children aged six and over and noticeably relieves the symptoms of sinusitis and bronchitis.A big advantage is that symptoms such as coughs, colds and pressure headaches can be alleviated with just one preparation.
Myrtol® activates the self-cleaning powers of the respiratory tract
The mucous membrane of our respiratory tract transports pollutants and pathogens towards the throat every day via movements of the cilia. In the event of an infection, this cleaning function is no longer intact and the secretion builds up.Myrtol® liquefies stuck mucus, activates the cilia and promotes the production of thin secretions, thereby alleviating symptoms.
Sinusitis and bronchitis: Which preparation is the right one?
Seniors and children in particular often have difficulty swallowing larger capsules.Myrtol® is an excellent choice because the small, oval capsule makes it easy to take. Each capsule contains 120 mg of the special distillate ELOM-080 based on rectified eucalyptus, sweet orange, myrtle and lemon oil.Myrtol® dissolves mucus in the entire respiratory tract and has anti-inflammatory effects.
