Myrtol® for sinusitis and bronchitis
Myrtol® is a herbal medicine that helps with sinusitis and bronchitis.It relieves symptoms such as cough, runny nose and pressure headaches.The product activates the self-cleaning powers in the respiratory tract, fights pathogens and shortens the duration of illness.No prescription is required for this product.
Mode of action and ingredients
Myrtol® contains the special distillate ELOM-080, which consists of rectified eucalyptus, sweet orange, myrtle and lemon oil.This combination loosens mucus in the upper and lower respiratory tract, improves the removal of harmful bacteria and viruses and has anti-inflammatory effects.The active ingredient promotes the production of thin secretions and activates the cilia, thereby clearing the respiratory tract.
Application and dosage
Myrtol® is suitable for children aged six and over and adults.The small, oval capsule is easy to swallow and can be taken with applesauce or quark.For acute clinical pictures, children aged 6 to 12 years take 1 capsule 3-4 times a day.For chronic illnesses, 1 capsule 3 times a day or 2 capsules 2 times a day are recommended.Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age take 2 capsules 3-5 times a day for acute illnesses.For chronic illnesses, 2 capsules 2-4 times a day are recommended.
General information
Myrtol® is available in pack sizes of 20, 50 and 100 capsules.It is suitable for both children and adults.For older children aged 12 and over and adults, GeloMyrtol® forte has a higher active ingredient dosage of 300 mg per capsule.
Active ingredients and ingredients
Each Myrtol® capsule contains 120 mg of the special distillate ELOM-080. The other ingredients are medium-chain triglycerides, gelatin, glycerol, purified water, sorbitol solution, hypromellose acetate succinate, triethyl citrate, sodium dodecyl sulfate, talc, dextrin and glycyrrhizic acid, ammonium salt.
Contraindications
Myrtol® must not be taken in the case of inflammatory diseases in the gastrointestinal area and in the bile duct area, in the case of severe liver diseases, in the case of allergies to the oils it contains or their components and in infants and children under 6 years of age.
Intake and patient information
Take Myrtol® half an hour before eating with plenty of cold liquid.To make it easier to sleep at night, the last dose can be taken before going to bed.Keep the medicine out of the reach and reach of children and do not store it above 25°C.Do not use the medicine after the expiry date stated on the packaging.
