BiomoPedicul 0.5 % solution is a product for the treatment of head lice. The active ingredient permethrin belongs to the active ingredient group of pyrethrins and kills lice and nits. Certain precautions should be observed before use, e.g. the product should not be used on newborns and infants under 2 months of age. The solution is applied to damp hair and left to act for 30-45 minutes. The hair is then rinsed with clean water and combed with a lice comb to remove dead lice and nits. The application can be repeated if live lice are still found after 7-10 days. Side effects may include skin irritation or headaches. In case of severe hypersensitivity reactions, the application should be discontinued. The package leaflet should be read carefully before use.
