Directions for use of the article BiomoPedicul 0.5% solution: BiomoPedicul 0.5% solution is a product for the single external treatment of head lice (Pediculus capitis). It contains the active ingredient permethrin, which belongs to the group of pyrethrins. Pyrethrins occur in certain plants. BiomoPedicul 0.5% solution is applied to the skin and the hair is well saturated with the solution. For short hair about 25 ml is sufficient, for longer hair about 50 ml is required. The solution is left to act for 30-45 minutes and then washed out with clear water. To ensure the success of the treatment, the hair should not be washed with shampoo for the first three days after application. In case of persistent infestation, a new treatment may be necessary after 8-10 days. BiomoPedicul 0.5% solution should not be used in cases of allergy to permethrin or other pyrethrins, in newborns and infants under 2 months of age and in cases of known allergy to chrysanthemums or other composite flowers. Possible side effects include headache, nausea and vomiting, and skin irritation. In case of severe hypersensitivity reactions, the application should be discontinued.
