Instructions for use for VOMEX A Children's Suppositories 40 mg, 5 pcs
Directions for use of the article Vomex A Children's Suppositories 40 mg. Vomex A Children's Suppositories 40 mg are suppositories for the prevention and treatment of nausea and vomiting in children over 8 kg body weight. The active substance is dimenhydrinate, a drug from the group of H1 antihistamines. However, dimenhydrinate is not suitable for treating nausea and vomiting due to cancer treatment alone. Certain precautions must be observed before using Vomex A Children's Suppository 40 mg. The medicine must not be used if there is an allergy to dimenhydrinate or other antihistamines, acute asthma attack, glaucoma, adrenal tumour, blood pigment production disorder, enlargement of the prostate gland or seizures. It must also not be used in certain heart conditions. If you have certain other diseases or are taking other medicines, consult your doctor before use. The dosage of Vomex A Children's Suppositories 40 mg is based on the child's body weight. It is recommended not to exceed daily doses of 5 milligrams per kilogram of body weight. The exact dosage and use should be discussed with a doctor or pharmacist. The duration of use of Vomex A Children's Suppositories 40 mg is usually short-term. If symptoms persist, a doctor should be consulted. An overdose with the active substance dimenhydrinate can be life-threatening, especially in children. If an overdose is suspected, a doctor should be consulted immediately. Alcohol should not be drunk during treatment with Vomex A Children's Suppository 40 mg as this may alter and increase the effect of the medicine. The ability to drive and operate machinery may be impaired by taking the medicine. Pregnant women and breast-feeding women should ask a doctor or pharmacist for advice before using Vomex A Children's Suppository 40 mg, as the active substance passes into breast milk and may induce premature labour. Overall, when using Vomex A Children's Suppositories 40 mg, the instructions in the package leaflet should be followed carefully and a doctor or pharmacist should be consulted if there are any questions.Medicines Reviews
