Area of application

Utipro plus capsules are intended for the control and prevention of urinary tract infections, especially bladder infections.These infections are often caused by pathogens such as E. coli and other gram-negative bacteria.The product works on two levels: In the intestine, it forms a protective biofilm that inhibits the proliferation of bacteria and makes it more difficult for them to penetrate the urinary tract.In the bladder, the ingredients hibiscus and propolis support the acidification of the urine, which limits the proliferation of bacteria.Typical symptoms such as strong urge to urinate, frequent urination, pain and burning can be alleviated by using Utipro plus capsules.No prescription is required for this product.

Mode of action

Utipro plus capsules have a mechanical effect in the intestine by preventing pathogens from coming into contact with the intestinal mucosa.This inhibits the proliferation of the pathogens and prevents their transmission to the urinary tract.The ingredients hibiscus and propolis also support the acidification of the urine, which reduces the proliferation of bacteria in the bladder.This can noticeably reduce symptoms such as pain and burning.The product can be used both acutely for symptoms that occur and as a preventive measure for recurring infections.

Each capsule of Utipro plus contains 100 mg xyloglucan, 50 g pork gelatin, 100 g propolis, 100 mg Hibiscus Sabdariffa, silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate (vegetable) and corn starch.This combination of natural ingredients works synergistically to control and prevent urinary tract infections.

Dosage

At the first symptoms of a urinary tract infection, one capsule of Utipro plus should be taken twice daily for five days.To prevent recurring infections, one capsule is taken daily for at least 15 consecutive days per month.The capsules should be swallowed with sufficient liquid.If necessary, it can be taken over several cycles.

Contraindications

Utipro plus must not be used in patients known to be hypersensitive to xyloglucan, gelatin or any of the other ingredients.

Notes

Utipro plus capsules should not be used after the expiry date printed on the package.Do not use the product if the blisters are opened or damaged.Do not store the product above 25°C and store it out of the reach of children.No prescription is required for this product.
