GUM AftaClear Gel is a product for the treatment of oral mucosal lesions, also known as aphthae. These painful sores can occur on the tongue, gums, palate or on the inner walls of the lips and cheeks. They remove the top layer of skin in the mouth, exposing nerve cells. Eating, drinking, air and saliva can irritate these exposed nerve endings, causing additional pain and slowing down the healing process. The GUM AftaClear gel acts like a protective barrier for the wound, promoting healing and relieving pain. This allows a quick return to a normal life. The gel should be applied one to three times a day after meals for one week, unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor or pharmacist. After application, it is recommended not to eat or drink for 30 minutes.
