Instructions for use for NEURO-RATIOPHARM Film-coated tablets, 100 pcs
Directions for use of the article Neuro-ratiopharm Film-Coated Tablets Neuro-ratiopharm Film-Coated Tablets are used for the treatment of neurological systemic disorders caused by a proven deficiency of vitamins B1 and B6. The film-coated tablets contain thiamine chloride hydrochloride (100 mg) and pyridoxine hydrochloride (100 mg), which correspond to vitamins B1 and B6 respectively. The recommended dosage for adults is 1 film-coated tablet 1-3 times a day. The tablets should be taken unchewed with or after meals with sufficient liquid. The duration of treatment is determined by the doctor and after four weeks a decision can be made about continuing the therapy. However, there are certain factors to consider before taking Neuro-ratiopharm. People who are allergic to thiamine chloride hydrochloride, pyridoxine hydrochloride or other components of the medicine must not take the medicine. A doctor should also be consulted in the event of any sensations such as tingling or formication in the hands and feet, which may be indicative of prolonged intake of high doses of vitamin B6. At the same time, the doctor should be informed about other medications taken, as interactions with levodopa, cycloserine, isoniazid, D-penicillamine, hydralazine or hormonal contraceptives may occur. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before taking Neuro-ratiopharm. The safety of use above the recommended daily doses in pregnancy has not been established. During pregnancy, the recommended daily intake for vitamin B1 is 1.4-1.6 mg and for vitamin B6 2.4-2.6 mg. High doses of vitamin B6 can inhibit milk production, so the doctor treating the patient should decide on its use during breast-feeding. While taking Neuro-ratiopharm, side effects may occur, such as hypersensitivity reactions, sweating, accelerated pulse, itching, hives or insensitivity. If side effects occur, a doctor or pharmacist should be consulted. It is recommended to keep the medicinal product out of the reach of children and not to store it above 30 °C. The exact composition of the film-coated tablets and further information are listed in the package leaflet. If there are any further questions about the use or side effects, a doctor or pharmacist should be contacted. The information in this summary is for information only and does not replace the package leaflet.Medicines Reviews
