Ducray Dexyane Med Cream is a specific treatment for eczema.It repairs damaged skin, soothes itching and protects with a breathable plaster texture.The cream can be used on open lesions and is suitable from the age of three months.

Areas of application

The cream is particularly suitable for the treatment of atopic eczema, also known as neurodermatitis, contact eczema and chronic hand eczema.It can be used on the face, body and hands.

Mode of action

Ducray Dexyane Med Cream treats and repairs damaged skin and limits the recurrence of eczema lesions.It soothes itching and reduces inflammation, redness and irritation.The cream restores the disturbed skin barrier and eliminates skin dryness.The ultra-moisturizing texture forms a protective film and acts like a breathable plaster.

Active ingredients and ingredients

The cream contains the following ingredients: water, glycerin, caprylic/capric triglycerides, butylene glycol, polysorbate 60, shea butter, propylene glycol, beeswax, glyceryl stearate, PEG-100 stearate, 10-hydroxydecenoic acid, caprylyl glycol, cetyl alcohol, citric acid, disodium EDTA, glycyrrhetinic acid,Guanidine Carbonate, Polyacrylate-13, Polyisobutene, Polysorbate 20, Sclerotium Gum and Sorbitan Isostearate.

Glycerin acts as a moisturizing component.Hydroxydecine, a patented fatty acid, repairs the damaged skin barrier, provides intensive moisture and stimulates the synthesis of the skin's own proteins.Shea butter has a moisturizing effect and prevents the skin from drying out.Liquorice root extract has an anti-inflammatory effect, soothes the skin and relieves itching.Caprylic/Capric triglycerides cleanse and nourish the skin, while a polysaccharide from bacterial fermentation protects against moisture loss and inhibits bacterial adhesion.

Contraindications

The cream should not be used if you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients.

Dosage and application

The cream can be applied directly to the affected skin areas 1 to 2 times a day.It can be used alone or in combination with topical corticosteroids.It can be used from the age of three months.The cream should not be used on mucous membranes or in the diaper area of children.Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding is not recommended.

In a clinical study on the tolerability and effectiveness of Ducray Dexyane Med Cream in mild to moderate chronic hand eczema, a reduction in itching by 58% and pain by 73% after 8 days was found.The study was conducted on 40 adults over a period of 21 days.
