Instructions for use of the article Atrauman Silicone 5x7 cm Compresses, sterile: - Atrauman Silicone is a wound contact layer consisting of a polyethylene terephthalate (PET) mesh as a backing material, coated with silicone gel (based on polydimethylsiloxane) on both sides. - The wound contact layer is used for atraumatic wound treatment and is thin, soft, cuttable and drapable. - It is permeable to exudate and adheres gently and securely to dry surfaces, but does not stick to moist surfaces. - Atrauman Silicone is used in the treatment of superficial acute and chronic, light to moderately exuding wounds of all types. - It can also be used as a protective layer on non-exuding wounds and on sites with sensitive skin. - Additionally, it is intended for use in conjunction with the Vivano Negative Pressure Wound Therapy System.
