Instructions for use of the article Atrauman Silicone 10x20 cm Compresses, sterile: - Atrauman Silicone is a wound contact layer consisting of a polyethylene terephthalate (PET) mesh as a backing material, coated with silicone gel (based on polydimethylsiloxane) on both sides. - This wound contact layer is thin, soft, cuttable and drapeable. - It is used in the treatment of superficial acute and chronic, light to moderately exuding wounds. - Atrauman Silicone adheres gently and securely to dry surfaces but not to moist surfaces to prevent sticking to the wound. - It can also be used as a protective layer on non-exuding wounds and on sites with sensitive skin. - It can be used in combination with the Vivano negative pressure wound therapy system.
