Instructions for use of the article Hexoral 0.1 % solution: Hexoral 0.1 % solution is an oral and pharyngeal therapeutic agent used to temporarily reduce the number of germs in the mouth and throat. It is also used as a supportive treatment for inflammation of the gums and oral mucosa caused by bacteria and after periodontal surgery. Hexoral must not be used if there is an allergy to hexetidine, azorubin, eucalyptus oil, levomenthol or other components of the medicine. It must also not be used in infants and children under 2 years of age, in patients with asthma or other respiratory diseases associated with hypersensitivity of the airways, and in superficial non-bleeding exfoliations of the oral mucosa, wounds and ulcers. Hexoral should only be used for topical application and should not be swallowed. It is usually applied 2 times a day, preferably in the morning and evening after meals. The recommended dose varies according to age. Children 12 years and older, adolescents and adults should use about 10-15 ml of undiluted solution. For children from 6 to 12 years, a sufficient amount on a cotton swab is sufficient. Use in children under 2 years of age is not permitted.
