How nice that Hexoral is back! (It wasn't available for a few years because the active ingredient wasn't available.) I've known it for over 30 years and really appreciate its reliable effect. As the flavour takes a bit of getting used to, you shouldn't take it before meals, because then everything tastes like Hexoral. But it's easy to get used to. It works great for me, so I always have a bottle of it at home.

The best thing that helps with a severe sore throat is to gargle several times a day right at the beginning. So that the bacteria have no chance to migrate. The gargle solution was not available on the European market for several years, now only the Hexoral lozenges need to be offered again. These are just as effective.
