Information for use with the article Hialurom Tendon pre-filled syringes: - Hialurom Tendon are intended for injection by a doctor. - The injection technique should only be performed by doctors with special training. - To obtain the product, you will need to send in the prescription required for this product by post or scan the e-prescription. - Hialurom Tendon is a sterile, viscoelastic sodium hyaluronate solution for peritendinous injection or injection into the tendon sheath. - Its effect is to support the gliding ability of the tendons and to promote the physiological regeneration process. - It also prevents the passage of pro-inflammatory cells and molecules through the tendon sheath due to its macromolecular structure. - It is used to treat pain and reduced mobility in tendon disorders. - For tendons with a tendon sheath, Hialurom Tendon is injected directly into the tendon sheath. - For tendons without a tendon sheath, the product is applied along the affected tendons, but not into the tendon itself. - The treatment consists of a total of two injections at intervals of one week around the diseased tendon. - Several tendons can also be treated at the same time. - Hialurom Tendon is a medical device and may only be used by a doctor.
