Instructions for use of the article Veroval EKG- and blood pressure monitor The Veroval EKGand blood pressure monitor is ideal for stroke prevention. It detects cardiac arrhythmias such as dangerous atrial fibrillation and high blood pressure, which are the main risk factors for strokes. With the mobile EKG-device, you can record your heart rhythm anywhere and at any time if you are in discomfort. The device immediately provides easy-to-understand information about the result and can print or email the complete EKG for the doctor if needed. The EKG-results and blood pressure values can be stored and analysed quickly and easily with the Veroval medi.connect software. The Veroval EKG- and blood pressure monitor has a fully automatic blood pressure measurement function that enables gentle and precise measurement on the upper arm. The blood pressure values can also be easily analysed using the traffic light system. The device is equipped with a universal cuff that covers an arm circumference of 22-42 cm. The EKG-recording is done either by touching the upper contacts with the index finger and the lower contact above the heart or by touching the contacts with the index fingers of both hands. The Veroval EKGand blood pressure monitor is a single-channelEKG, which can detect various arrhythmias. It automatically records the heart rhythm and assesses whether the heart rhythm is too fast, too slow, irregular, paused or normal.
