Contraindications

Dosage

Recommended use of Minoxicutan® Women 20 mg/ml spray: Apply 1 ml (6 sprays) of the solution to the affected areas of the scalp twice a day.A continuous continuation of the treatment is recommended in order to maintain an optimal effect.If the desired treatment success is not achieved within 8 months, therapy should be discontinued.

Intake

Minoxicutan® Women 20 mg/ml spray is applied to the skin (scalp).The solution is sprayed directly onto the scalp in the area of hair loss.After each pumping session, the liquid should be spread over the affected area using your fingertips, avoiding inhalation of spray fumes.The medicine should be applied to dry scalp and should not be used on other parts of the body.After applying the drug, hands should be washed carefully to avoid accidental contact with mucous membranes and eyes.After applying the medicine, you can style your hair as usual.However, you should not wet the scalp for about 4 hours to avoid washing off the medicine.

Patient information

Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using this product.Use the medicine only on normal, healthy scalp.You should not use the product if the cause of hair loss is unknown or if you have hair loss after childbirth, or if the scalp is red, inflamed or painful.If effects on internal organs (systemic effects) or severe skin reactions occur, the preparation should be discontinued.You should not use the medicine if you have signs of cardiovascular disease or cardiac arrhythmias, if you suffer from high blood pressure or if you are taking medicines to treat high blood pressure (antihypertensives).You should stop taking the medicine and seek medical attention if a decrease in blood pressure is noticed or if one or more of the following occurs: chest pain, rapid heartbeat, feeling weak or dizzy, sudden and unexplained weight gain, swollen hands or feet, persistent redness or irritation of the scalp.Patients with very light hair have occasionally reported minor changes in hair color (slight blonde discoloration) when using other hair care products at the same time or after swimming in water with a high concentration of chlorine.The medicine contains alcohol and may cause burning and irritation in the eyes.If you accidentally come into contact with sensitive areas (eyes, abrasions, mucous membranes), you should rinse these areas with plenty of water. Avoid inhaling the spray fumes.Accidental ingestion can cause serious side effects in the cardiovascular system.Therefore, you must keep this medicine out of the reach of children.Do not use this medication in children or adolescents under 18 years of age because safety and effectiveness have not been established in this age group.Impairment of the ability to drive and use machines is unlikely.

Pregnancy

The medicine must not be used by pregnant women and nursing mothers as there are no studies on pregnant women and minoxidil can pass into breast milk.
