Minoxicutan® Women - Spray with Minoxidil against hair loss

Minoxicutan® Women is a spray that was specifically developed to treat hereditary hair loss in women.It contains the active ingredient minoxidil, which improves the blood and nutrient supply to the hair roots, stops hair loss and promotes hair growth.The product is available without a prescription.

Area of application

In Germany, around 20 to 30% of all women suffer from hereditary hair loss, the so-called androgenetic alopecia.Hair loss can increase with advancing age.The earlier treatment begins, the greater the chance of success.Minoxicutan® Women stops hair loss, promotes hair growth and strengthens the hair.

Mode of action

Minoxicutan® Women can be easily integrated into your regular care routine.The first results become visible after 2 to 4 months.The active ingredient minoxidil improves the blood and nutrient supply to the hair roots, stops hair loss and promotes hair growth.Thanks to the better supply of nutrients, the growth phase of the hair can be normalized again.Thin hair is strengthened and new hair growth is stimulated.Minoxicutan® Women stabilizes the course of androgenetic alopecia in women and promotes hair growth and hair density, which can counteract the progression of this alopecia.

Minoxicutan® Women contains the following ingredients: 1 ml solution contains 20 mg minoxidil.The other ingredients are ethanol 96% (v/v), propylene glycol and purified water.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the above ingredients, this product should not be used.

Dosage

Recommended use of Minoxicutan® for women: Apply 1 ml (6 sprays) of the solution to the affected areas of the scalp twice a day.A continuous continuation of the treatment is recommended in order to maintain an optimal effect.If the desired treatment success is not achieved within 8 months, therapy should be discontinued.

Intake

The solution is sprayed directly onto the scalp in the area of hair loss.After each pumping process, spread the liquid over the affected area with your fingertips.Avoid inhaling spray fumes.The medicine should be applied to dry scalp and should not be used on other parts of the body.After applying the drug, hands should be washed carefully to avoid accidental contact with mucous membranes and eyes.After applying the medicine, you can style your hair as usual.However, you should not wet the scalp for about 4 hours to avoid washing off the medicine.

Patient information

Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using this product.Use the medicine only on normal, healthy scalp.You should not use the product if the cause of hair loss is unknown or if you have hair loss after childbirth, or if the scalp is red, inflamed or painful.If effects on internal organs or severe skin reactions occur, the preparation should be discontinued.You should not use the medicine if you have signs of cardiovascular disease or irregular heartbeat, if you have high blood pressure or if you are taking medicines to treat high blood pressure.You should stop taking the medicine and seek medical attention if a decrease in blood pressure is noticed or if one or more of the following occurs: chest pain, rapid heartbeat, feeling weak or dizzy, sudden and unexplained weight gain, swollen hands or feet, persistent redness or irritation of the scalp.Occasionally, minor changes in hair color have been reported by patients with very light hair while using other hair care products or after swimming in water with a high concentration of chlorine.The medicine contains alcohol and may cause burning and irritation in the eyes.If you accidentally come into contact with sensitive areas, you should rinse these areas with plenty of water.Avoid inhaling the spray fumes.Accidental ingestion can cause serious side effects in the cardiovascular system.Therefore, you must keep this medicine out of the reach of children.Do not use this medication in children or adolescents under 18 years of age because safety and effectiveness have not been established in this age group. Impairment of the ability to drive and use machines is unlikely.

Pregnancy

The medicine must not be used by pregnant women and nursing mothers as there are no studies on pregnant women and minoxidil can pass into breast milk.

No prescription is required for this product.Please do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the pack or outer packaging.The expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month.
