Minoxicutan® Men - Spray with Minoxidil against hair loss

Minoxicutan® is a spray specifically developed to treat hereditary hair loss in men.The active ingredient minoxidil helps stop hair loss and promotes the regrowth of new, thicker hair.The effectiveness of minoxidil has been scientifically proven.

Area of application

In Germany, almost every second man suffers from hereditary hair loss, also known as androgenetic alopecia.This form of hair loss can increase with age.The earlier treatment is started, the higher the chances of success.Minoxicutan® helps to stop hair loss and allow hair to grow back thicker and stronger.

Mode of action

Minoxicutan® Men 50 mg/ml spray works in different ways.It stabilizes the course of androgenetic alopecia and promotes hair growth.The active ingredient minoxidil expands the blood vessels, which improves the blood and nutrient supply to the hair roots.This normalizes the hair growth phase, strengthens the hair and stimulates new hair growth.The hair becomes denser and thicker and hair loss stops.

Minoxicutan® Men 50 mg/ml spray contains the active ingredient minoxidil.One milliliter of the solution contains 50 mg of minoxidil.The other ingredients are ethanol 96% (v/v), propylene glycol and purified water.

Contraindications

Minoxicutan® should not be used if there is hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.

Dosage

Minoxicutan® Men 50 mg/ml spray should be used twice daily.Apply 1 ml (equivalent to 6 sprays) of the solution to the affected areas of the scalp.Continuous use is recommended to achieve the optimal effect.If the desired treatment success is not achieved within 8 months, therapy should be discontinued.

Intake

Minoxicutan® is sprayed directly onto the scalp in the area of hair loss.After each spray, spread the solution over the affected area using your fingertips.Be careful not to inhale the spray fumes.Wash your hands thoroughly after application to avoid accidental contact with mucous membranes and eyes.After application you can style your hair as usual.However, avoid wetting the scalp for about four hours to prevent the solution from washing off.

Patient information

Before you use Minoxicutan®, you should talk to your doctor or pharmacist.It is important to rule out hormonal causes, underlying diseases or malnutrition, as targeted treatment is required in these cases.Only use the medicine on a healthy scalp and not if the cause of hair loss is unknown or if the scalp is red, inflamed or painful.There is no clinical experience with its effectiveness for hair loss in the temple area (receding hairline).In the event of systemic effects or severe skin reactions, the preparation should be discontinued.Minoxicutan® is intended exclusively for external use on the scalp and must not be applied to other parts of the body.

Avoid using Minoxicutan® if you have signs of cardiovascular disease, cardiac arrhythmia or high blood pressure.The simultaneous use of high blood pressure medication should also be avoided.Stop taking the medicine and seek medical attention if you experience a decrease in blood pressure or symptoms such as chest pain, rapid heartbeat, weakness, dizziness, sudden weight gain, swollen hands or feet, persistent redness or irritation of the scalp, or other unexpected symptoms.

Unwanted hair growth may occur if the product is applied to areas of the body other than the scalp.Minor changes in hair color have been reported in isolated cases, particularly in very light hair and when using hair care products at the same time or after swimming in water with a high concentration of chlorine.

Minoxicutan® is not suitable for children or adolescents under 18 years of age as safety and effectiveness have not been established in this age group.The product may cause dizziness or low blood pressure.In this case you should not drive a vehicle or operate machines.

Pregnancy

Minoxicutan® is intended for male patients only.To date, there is only limited experience with the use of the preparation in pregnant women. Minoxidil absorbed into the body can pass into breast milk, therefore it should not be used in pregnant women and nursing mothers.
