Minoxicutan® is a spray specially developed for men to combat hereditary hair loss.The active ingredient minoxidil helps stop hair loss and promotes the regrowth of new, thicker hair.The effectiveness of minoxidil has been scientifically proven.

Area of application

In Germany, almost every second man suffers from hereditary hair loss, the so-called androgenetic alopecia.Hair loss can increase with advancing age.The earlier treatment begins, the greater the chance of success.Minoxicutan® Men 50 mg/ml spray contains the active ingredient minoxidil, which has been scientifically proven to combat hereditary hair loss.With the help of Minoxicutan® Men 50 mg/ml spray, hair loss can be stopped and the hair can grow back thicker and denser.No prescription is required for this product.

Mode of action

Minoxicutan® Men 50 mg/ml spray stabilizes the course of androgenetic alopecia and promotes hair growth.It expands the blood vessels and thus promotes the blood and nutrient supply to the hair root and hair.Thanks to the better supply of nutrients, the growth phase of the hair can be normalized again.On this basis, the hair is strengthened and new hair growth is stimulated.Thin hair becomes denser and thicker again.The hair loss does not progress any further.

Minoxicutan® Men 50 mg/ml spray contains: 1 ml solution contains 50 mg minoxidil.The other ingredients are ethanol 96% (v/v), propylene glycol and purified water.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the above ingredients, this product should not be used.

Dosage

Recommended use of Minoxicutan® Men 50 mg/ml spray: Apply 1 ml (6 sprays) of the solution to the affected areas of the scalp twice a day.A continuous continuation of the treatment is recommended in order to maintain an optimal effect.If the desired treatment success is not achieved within 8 months, therapy should be discontinued.

Intake

The solution is sprayed directly onto the scalp in the area of hair loss.After each pumping process, spread the liquid over the affected area with your fingertips.Avoid inhaling spray fumes.The medicine should be applied to the dry tonsured area of the scalp.It should not be used on other parts of the body.After applying the drug, hands should be washed carefully to avoid accidental contact with mucous membranes and eyes.After applying the medicine, you can style your hair as usual.However, you should not wet the scalp for about 4 hours to avoid washing off the solution.

Patient information

Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using this product.Use the medicine only on normal, healthy scalp.You should not use the product if the cause of hair loss is unknown or if the scalp is red, inflamed or painful.There is no clinical experience with its effectiveness for hair loss in the temple area (receding hairline).If effects on internal organs (systemic effects) or severe skin reactions occur, the preparation should be discontinued.You should not use the medicine if you have signs of cardiovascular disease or cardiac arrhythmias, if you suffer from high blood pressure or if you are taking medicines to treat high blood pressure (antihypertensives).You should stop taking the medicine and seek medical attention if a decrease in blood pressure is noticed or if one or more of the following occurs: chest pain, rapid heartbeat, feeling weak or dizzy, sudden and unexplained weight gain, swollen hands or feet, persistent redness or irritation of the scalp.Occasionally, minor changes in hair color have been reported by patients with very light hair when using hair care products at the same time or after swimming in water with a high concentration of chlorine.The medicine contains alcohol and may cause burning and irritation in the eyes.In case of accidental contact with sensitive areas (eyes, skin abrasions, mucous membranes), you must rinse these areas with plenty of water.Avoid inhaling the spray fumes.Accidental ingestion can cause serious side effects in the cardiovascular system.Therefore, you must keep this medicine out of the reach of children. Do not use this medication in children or adolescents under 18 years of age because safety and effectiveness have not been established in this age group.Impairment of the ability to drive and use machines is unlikely.

Pregnancy

The medicine is only indicated for use in male patients and should not be used by pregnant women and nursing mothers.

Please do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the pack or outer packaging.The expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month.

Application

Apply 1 ml Minoxicutan® Men 50 mg/ml twice a day (morning and evening) to the affected areas of the scalp.6 sprays are required for the 1 ml dose.The amount of 1 ml solution used twice daily should not be exceeded, regardless of the size of the affected skin area.The solution is sprayed directly onto the scalp in the area of hair loss.To do this, press the pump six times.After each pumping process, spread the liquid over the affected area with your fingertips.For small-area applications, use the spray head with an extended tip for precise and precise dosing, e.g.B. in the crown area.Your patience will be rewarded.You will usually see new hair after about 4 months.
