POSIFORLID® Eye Spray is a cosmetic that is used to care for irritated eyelids and for daily eyelid hygiene.It is preservative-free and contains no fragrances.The product is suitable for long-term use and is characterized by very good skin and eye compatibility.No prescription is required for this product.

POSIFORLID® Eye Spray is used to gently remove deposits on the eyelids and between the eyelashes.It is suitable for daily eyelid hygiene and supportive care for eyelid inflammation and irritated eyelids.The spray helps loosen crusty buildup and cleanse the eyelid edges, while soothing and nourishing irritated eyelids.

POSIFORLID® Eye Spray contains the following ingredients: Aqua, Sorbitol, Sodium Citrate, Euphrasia Officinalis Extract, Salicylic Acid, Hyaluronic Acid and Sodium Hydroxide.This combination of active ingredients has a calming and soothing effect on the sensitive eyelid skin.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients mentioned, the product should not be used.

Dosage

Before the first application, approx. 3 - 4 pump strokes are required until a spray mist can be removed.The bottle is then ready for use for all further applications.There are different application options, depending on whether you want to care for the eyelids or remove incrustations.

If you want to treat red and irritated eyelids, hold the bottle about 10 cm away from the eye.Close your eyes and apply the spray to closed eyelids with 1-2 sprays each.Be careful not to spray onto the open eye and do not touch the surface of the eye with the spray head.

To loosen buildup on the eyelids or between the eyelashes, you can use the product in two ways.First, you can moisten a cotton swab with the spray and massage the edge of the eyelid with it.Alternatively, you can apply several sprays to a cotton pad and stroke the edge of the eyelid from the outside to the inside.The cotton swabs and cotton pads should only be used once.

In general, it is recommended to carry out eyelid margin hygiene daily in the morning and evening. POSIFORLID® eye spray can be used up to four times daily.Due to the absence of preservatives and the absence of fragrances, the eyelid skin is not further irritated, and the eye spray is suitable for daily eyelid hygiene.When using cotton pads/swabs, please remember to only use them once per eye to prevent the transmission of germs.

Can POSIFORLID® eye spray be used while wearing contact lenses?

Even when used on the eyelid, it cannot be ruled out that POSIFORLID® eye spray comes into contact with the contact lenses.Since there is no sufficient data on compatibility with various contact lens materials, we recommend against its use.

Can I use POSIFORLID® eye spray with make-up on?

We recommend using POSIFORLID® eye spray if possible in the morning before applying make-up and in the evening after removing make-up to clean the eyelid edge.In principle, it can also be used for care when eye cosmetics are applied.To do this, extend the spray distance to 20 cm and apply 1 spray to the closed eyelids.

How long does the POSIFORLID® eye spray last after opening?
