WALA Echinacea Mouth and Throat Spray is an anthroposophic medicinal product used for inflammation in the mouth and throat.It helps alleviate sore throat and difficulty swallowing, as well as acute and chronic inflammation of the tonsils, gums, and mucous membranes.The spray supports the healing of irritated mucous membranes and harmonizes the sensory organization in the mouth and throat area.It is suitable for children aged four and older and for adults.

Mode of action

Active ingredients / Ingredients

10 g of the spray contain the following active ingredients: Argentum nitricum Dil.D13 aquos.(0.1 g), Calendula officinalis e floribus LA 20% (1.0 g), Echinacea pallida ex herba LA 20% (1.0 g), Eucalyptus globulus e foliis ferm 33d Dil.D1 (0.1 g), Gingiva bovis Gl Dil.D4 (0.1 g), Gingiva bovis Gl Dil.D8 (0.1 g), Salvia officinalis e foliis LA 20% (1.0 g), Tonsillae palatinae bovis Gl Dil.D4 (0.1 g), Tonsillae palatinae bovis Gl Dil.D8 (0.1 g).

Active ingredients 1, 6, and 9 are potentized over three stages, while active ingredients 1, 4–6, 8, and 9 are potentized together at the final stage.

Other ingredients are citric acid monohydrate, ethanol 96%, sodium chloride, sodium hydrogen carbonate, and purified water.

Contraindications

The product should not be used in cases of known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.

Dosage

The recommended dosage for children aged four years and older and adults is 1 to 2 sprays applied to the gums, tonsils, or pharyngeal area twice weekly; in acute cases, this may be increased to up to 3 times daily.Treatment of an acute condition should be completed within 2 weeks.If no improvement occurs within 2 to 5 days, a doctor should be consulted.The spray should not be used for longer than 2 weeks.

Administration

The spray is applied directly to the gums, tonsils, or pharyngeal area.

Notes

The product is also suitable for breastfeeding women and children aged four years and older.It should not be used during pregnancy, and during breastfeeding, it should only be used after consulting a doctor or pharmacist.

The spray contains 27 mg of alcohol per spray, corresponding to 15% (w/v).It is gluten-free and lactose-free.
