Pinimenthol Cold Bath is a traditional herbal medicinal product used for the supportive treatment of colds. It contains the active ingredients eucalyptus oil, camphor and levomenthol. The medicine has an expectorant effect, frees the respiratory muscles and relieves coughing. It is used to prepare full baths and is suitable for adolescents from 12 years of age and adults. The recommended dose is 30 ml per bath, 3-4 times a week. The bath should have a duration of 10-20 minutes and be carried out at a temperature of 35-38°C. Pinimenthol Cold Bath must not be used in case of hypersensitivity to the ingredients, bronchial asthma, whooping cough, during pregnancy and breastfeeding and in children under 12 years of age. Side effects may include reddening of the skin, skin rashes and irritation of the cough. No interactions with other medicines can be observed. Accidental ingestion may cause nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea. The medicine should not be used for more than one week without seeking medical advice.
