Directions for use of Hepar-SL 640 mg Film-coated tablets: The herbal medicinal product Hepar-SL 640 mg is used for digestive disorders (dyspeptic complaints), especially functional disorders of the biliary system. The recommended dose for adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over is one film-coated tablet twice daily, taken unchewed and with sufficient liquid at the main meal times. There are insufficient data for dosage recommendations in the case of impaired kidney and/or liver function. The medicinal product should be kept out of the reach of children and should not be stored above 25 degrees Celsius. The medicinal product should not be used after the expiry date on the packaging. Hepar-SL 640 mg film-coated tablets contain 640 mg dry extract of artichoke leaves 4-6:1 as the active substance, extraction agent: water. Known active ingredients include lactose and soya lecithin. Use is not recommended in cases of hypersensitivity to the ingredients, obstruction of the bile ducts, in children under 12 years of age and during pregnancy and breast-feeding.
